We're a dramatic lot here at Wide-Eyed Design, so we were thrilled when the Siege Perilous Theatre Company gave us a call and asked us to design their new logo.

The name Siege Perilous is taken from Arthurian legend so using a chair as the starting point for our design seemed apt, especially as it also symbolises the most important partof the theatre - the audience.

A red velvet cushion translates the swish of the curtain, some striplights add some colour to the scene, and (in a nod to the Bard) we held a mirror up to nature and distorted it (just a bit). Finally, because every performer craves the spotlight, we couldn't resist flicking the switch.
