Mark Stanley Accountants (MSA) Ltd provide accountancy and tax advisory services for owner managed businesses throughout Consett, Stanley and Chester-le-Street.

The Design Brief

Their design brief was to the point: they needed a website which provided a comprehensive overview of their services, emphasised their client-centred approach, gave the business a strong online presence and ranked highly in local searches for their chosen keywords.

Our Solution: Responsive Website Design

The website was created as a responsive three page site using the WordPress Content Management system, a modular page builder and a bespoke layout design. A three-page website is a great way for start-ups and established business to build an online presence without breaking the bank. In this instance, MSA had been successfully trading for a number of years but felt that the time was right for them to venture online.

As a key element of the design brief was the emphasis on approachability, the layout design was kept deliberately simple. The rich raspberry of the logo was used for headings and links, keeping the branding consistent across all aspects of MSA’s marketing. Bold straplines at the top of each page give structure and provide visual impact while bulleted information points provide an “at a glance” list of the various services provided by the company.

Prior to going live, the website was fully optimised for Search Engines and Google Analytics was added to all pages.

The Result

The Mark Stanley Accountants website is a perfect example of the way a well-designed website can grow with the business without needing to make costly design changes. As the business has grown and developed, additional website pages and email addresses have been created.
