The Client

Edinburgh based ETI Engineering Ltd provide electrical installations, testing and analysis.

The Brief

Their director asked us to create a bespoke logo design, double-sided business cards and office stationery including A4 report folders.

Design Solution: Logo Design

The typeface used in the logo design was personalised for ETI by adjusting it to incorporate the electrical symbol for an always open switch – a nod to both the companys core services and their customer service values.  Further personalisation of the typeface made it appear as if the company initials were formed from twisted wire.

As part of the design package bespoke designed double-sided business cards, A4 report folders and letterheaded paper were also created. In keeping with the minimalist theme, the business card and folder design concentrated on perfectly positioned details printed on a high-quality glossy card. The front of the business cards show contact details, the reverse of the card gives a list of the main services provided by the company.

During the print process, we arranged for silver foiling and embossing to be added to the logo.  The subtle  addition of textured silver really makes the logo shine against the  high-gloss dark grey card used and adds a touch of quiet elegance to the letterheaded paper.
